Play Synopsis

The scene is Valentine, Nebraska, where Wally Wessell is running for reelection as governor. He is aided by his family, wife Daisy, and daughter Mina. His security is headed by State Trooper Dwayne Cooper, Opposition is provided by Hugh Beast and State Senator Ned Nieneriener. Trooper Cooper is invstigating a near-fatal "accident" that almost ended Wally's life that was engineered by Beast. While gathering evidence, Trooper Cooper meets Mina and a romance blossoms, overseen by Daisy. Beast plots with Neinerniener, to eliminate Wessell from the governor's race, but they are constantly thwarted by Trooper Cooper and Mina, who in turn are aided by....?
